The Indian Bank, which is one of the leading and proficient public sector banks in India, has made an announcement relevant to the Recruitment of Sportspersons for the posts of Officers and Clerks for the year 2010.

Age: 21 – 30yrs
Sports Qualification:
Should have represented the Country or won an Arjuna Award or represented the State with distinction for at
least five years in continuation

Post : Clerk
vacancies: 15
PayScale : Rs. 7200  – 19300
Age: 18 – 28yrs.
Sports Qualification:
Should have represented the State in National event, or the District in State level event with distinction, or his University in an Inter-University event with distinction or if he was a member of combined Universities Team

The selection process will be through personal interview. Based on the performance of the candidates in the interview, the final select list will be delivered.

Application Fees is Rs.400(Gen/OBC for Officers) , Rs.300(Gen/OBC for Clerks) or Rs.50(SC/ST/PC)  All candidates should remit the application fee by means of a Demand Draft/BPO drawn at any scheduled Commercial Banks and payable at Chennai.

After payments, Application should be submitted only in the prescribed proforma which can be downloaded from our Bank’s website,with all particulars regarding educational qualification and Sports Achievements supported by relevant Certi ficates and be sent in a separate cover superscribed “RECRUITMENT OF SPORTSPERSONS” to the following address so as to reach on or before 26.12.2010.
